The Wild Side

There's a wild side to making Cozies...literally.  So put on your safari gear, grab your binoculars, and see what you can spot in the Wild Cozy Kingdom.

We've just spotted a zebra/pink leopard Cameo Cozy in its natural habitat!

Do not attempt to feed the pet the leopard Side-Kick bag!

Shhhhh....this hot pink and black zebra Cozy does not like to be disturbed.

It's hard to spot this brown and tan zebra Side-Kick bag with its natural camouflage.

This Xyron Cozy has been known to attack for no apparent reason.

The South American Jaguar Scrap-Ma-Bob bag has never been known to be domesticated.

Never try to approach this Tiger Expression Cozy when its young are nearby.

A Touching Story

 Recently, I got an email from a new friend, Ashley.  Here's what she wrote:

"I was wondering if you've ever come across Auto Mechanic fabric?  Something with Wrenches, impacts, tools, etc...  I was just sitting here thinking how nice it would be to make my next cozy in this fabric if it can be found.   I lost my 50 year old father to Cancer in August. He was an Auto Mechanic for many years, and then taught Automotive at school for the last few years. He was always teaching my 3 year old son (his only grandchild) how to fix certain things on a vehicle."

So...we searched and searched and found this automotive fabric on Ebay.  The coordinating checkered print was from Joann Fabrics.

The red stripes and binding add a pretty contrast between the two.

A felt button with two overlapping wrenches were the perfect finishing touch.  I found the tiny metal wrenches on Etsy.  They were shipped from England in record time.

I hope this Cozy blesses Ashley and helps her feel close to her dad for years to come :)

A Pretty Matching Set (3)

I love Deonna.  Every time I get an email from her, I know my ego is going to get a HUGE boost.  She loves her Cozies...and she loves her little boys.  That's why she chose this fabric--to look bright and neat...but also to impress her sons.  

This is a direct quote from Deonna:

"You rock and your Cozies are the best.  My boys love to come into my craft room and run their hands on them."

Yes, it's true.  My Cozies have been known to entertain small children for hours on end.  (Just another reason you need a set of your own!)
